  • A Flight of Cormorants

    Hi

Amazing sight on the Lake this morning as over a period of half and hour, hundreds and hundreds of cormorants flew onto and around the submerged jetty - coming from all parts of the lake in large and small groups. Pelicans as well.

They were not feeding - just sitting there for about 15 mins, then they all slowly left again....

Quite a sight and the photos don't do it justice as I couldn't get them all in as some were around the corner on the left and others had drifted off to the right.

I bet is was amazing to watch. Looks like a wonderful place to be.
We have lots coming and going where I live, at sunset and sunrise truly spectacular site. I will never come close to capturing how amazing it is.
Your second image seems brighter yet the darker third image has the better light for the trees.

Thanks everyone. I thought it may been the reunion of the class of 2011.
