Called into the back of our local dam on the way home yesterday - spied quite a few different birds. Unfortunately I have a bad leg at present and wasn't prepared to walk over very uneven ground to get closer. Hubby with 2 good legs did and got some really good shots. Now we just have to find a free weekend to get out there earlier and get much better shots.

Actually a pretty lousy photo Skidlid but yes there is a stilt and darter and I think you're right although I missed the plover when I first looked. Pity it's so far out of town so will have to wait for a weekend but will definitely be back there when time permits. Just hope the birds wait around for me.
