Low degree of difficulty but such a small splash, surely it would be high 7s.

Poor silvergulls...get such a bad wrap but obviously this one's working for his breakfast.

do it again Jess and I believe you are really improving

Brilliant photo Jess. Great timing and being ready for the special photo is all it takes. And I need to practise both a lot lol

I really like the first shot Jess, the gull diving past the Pelican, you can almost imagine what the pelican is thinking, "What you dive for I only need to stretch my neck for"

Have you thought about cropping the Gull out by itself could be an interesting shot.

                Thank you so much.
It really is a matter of sitting and watching and waiting.
I would have given the Gull a 9 except that he didn't have his toes pointed.

                    Thanks Lloyd.
Haven't tried to crop out the Gull but I'll see what it looks like.

What a great capture Jess. Pity the gull drowned.

I know it didn't, but it looks like it may have
                      !

My indecision is final, I think.

You people are too kind. I'm only giving the gull a 6.5. Terrible approach angle, I mean seriously, straight down head first at speed or stick to scavenging chips I say.

I'll give the photographer a 10 though. Well done.

And no it didn't drown, it did come up with his brekky, prawn not chips...lol.
                          6.5 is a bit harsh...lol
And thank you for the 10
