Waiting in the dark at Bicheno to see what colour I would get in the sunrise, these little penguins were all around my feet at times.

Hard to get some idea of size in the shots I have. They stand about a foot high and no they didn't show any fear of me, curious if anything.

They look much smaller than that - must be the angle the shot is taken from.
