One of those small birds who run like the wind

Second attempt at trying to capture a shot of these small swamp birds as they do run like the wind if you get too close. I did my best tree impression and he finally came close enough. It's a Red-kneed Dotterel.

i saw these out here the other day, impossible to catch with the lumi so I can understand how good your photo is. I was told they don't stay here long so maybe they are on the move from x to y

Have to admit that I didn't expect to get a good shot. Was watching his body language but he wasn't indicating that he was about to take off. Feel quite chuffed
I understand they are are nomadic bird.
