    They looks great to me, but I am looking at them on my old lappy.
    The WF Heron in particular has lovely tones both on the bird and in the water.
    Maybe Willy could have had a little more DOF, I do love to see their whiskers, but I guess you wouldn't have had such a good background then.

      Look very good this end Alan. I drove past a small Lucerne farm today and noticed the farmer had missed a bit when mowing but the two Plovers were standing guide near by to explain it all. We used to do that also when farming.

        Thanks for the feedback . Even though the lapwings are pretty common, I've never managed a decent photo of one. I wasn't sure about the square crop, but it didn't seem to work as a vertical or horizontal.

          Nice clean images of the lapwing and heron, as far as the willie is concerned.......well lets just say an incredibly hard bird to photograph, I've yet to see a great image of one......
          Very nice set.
