Hi Alan
Is this a raven or a common crow? I can never remember one of these things sitting still for long enough for me to get a shot off (with the gun). They were always a really good alarm clock when we lived on the property in Perth noisy horrible things.
Despite it being on a "Pole" i really like the image, brilliant colouring, you have managed to capture the "bloom" in the feathers. Great photography.Canon, 5D MK3 5D Mk11 300mm f2.8, 28-300 f3.5-5.6, 70-200 f2.8, 100 Macro.

Thanks Gordon,
I believe Crows are found more to the West of me. I have Ravens and Little Ravens in Wamboin. Ravens don't tend to hang out in large groups and they have a long drawn out call, whereas the Little Ravens are more gregarious and have a shorter call.
According to my knowledgeable bird neighbour anyway
Cheers
