  • powerful talons



    both d3 600f4 tc2III (1200mm)
    1/125 f11 iso400 full frame.
    after the portraits, I decided to get a shot of their tools of trade.
    appears to be dried blood on both too. definitely wouldnt like to be a possum around these guys

        Amazing shots, looks like you're sitting next to them. Watching any bird of prey swoop down then extend their feet to catch their prey is certainly a wow moment.

            Is this from your local owl?----> Never mind I just saw the next in this series.
            Is that blood on the feet in the last image?
            Looks like the whole foot is made for gripping, with the textured surface.
