  • Another Egret

    Haven't checked the book of birds but assume it is the Great Egret.
    Yes he just dropped a turd. I uploadec my dslr pic to my tablet and edited them in their jpg form for now.

      Even the elegant birds have to answer the call of nature. When you get full editing capabilities back I'd be tempted to darken the water behind his head as it blends in too much. I do like these and it's a good shot of one Anna.

                Nice shots of this egret, next time take a while to study them, they are fascinating, they stand still and seems to you like they are checking you out, but they are forever waiting for a fish to swim past them, and in a blink of an eye they bury their head in the water and come out with a fish in beak.

                  Thnx Chosek. I have watched them as both times I photographed them, they were hungry and saw them catching fish and yes, very fast.
