    Looks like a painting, quite beautiful.

    I like the pano presentation, it's a big bird and needs some room. The foliage bookends the edges, great detail and wonderful light. Really like this effort Alan.

      I'm with Mick on this one.

      The painting-like quality, the stark white background works a treat.

      Just above your signature there are some greyish OOF smudges. I would be tempted to clean those up, but then again I'm a well known pedant, so who knows.

        'Someone' was contemplating cutting this tree down - but I might have to persuade her that it's not such a bad addition to the garden.

        Pedantry noted Charles and point taken . But yes, details like you mentioned are important and I'll revisit it - thanks for that feedback.

          dont mind the back view with the over the shoulder head turn.
          I am not overfond of the bright background, but comes down to personal tastes.
          wondering if the original was a tad dark on the bird and brightened in post? lust seeing a few artifacts around the bird when I looked at a bit of an angle?
