been spending a lot of time around the water the last couple of months.
mainly chasing the sea eagles. managed quite a lot of shots of those too but not what I really wanted (the grab a fish or seagull right in front of me shot) oh well
but when the eagles werent around I was photographing the other stuff.

saw these guys preening and stretching so worked my way around to them and sat down for some shots.
(note to self do not sit in the swamp when you arent wearing the waterproof pants. usually do but not today. sat down and you quickly start wonder why the butt cheeks are cold and wet. too late to move though. wet anyhow just get the shots)

Fantastic detail, dont mind the coloured background, I think it adds to the image..........
