Very abstract interpretation Ironwood, it's really cool!

      Thanks Isac.
I haven’t been getting out with the camera much lately, so I decided this morning to get a shot to enter in a weekly challenge on the Nikonites forum ( topic is reflections) so I went down to my creek and took a couple of dozen photos, this is the one I chose to enter. The photo I uploaded in “Rain needed” was my runner up.
      Cheers, Brad.

        G'day Brad

Almost looks like a tray of those glass beads one sees in gardening shops - dunno what they use 'em for tho !! - but the colours and reflections appear very similar
ps- I've just noticed the ferns at the top ... Q- what would it look like turned down-side-up?

        Phil

Hi Phil, they are actually palm frond reflections. After staring at the image for a while earlier on, I also wondered what it would look like flipped. Every time I tried to rotate my iPad to get a look, it would auto rotate back again

I thought the same thing and played a bit with the shadows and highlights. Found myself wanting to turn my head to look at the original. A little too abstract as it was for my taste.

I like your edit Greg, it doesn’t do the head in as much as the original.
If I held off entering the original, I probably would have done a bit better in the voting with a version like this. Doesn’t matter though, as they don’t give out Sheep Stations for first prize.
