All fantastic John. Probably #4 my fav. Very creepy and the darkness adds to the intrigue.

All good work John. #2 is superb - great detail and contrasts. Nik is quite amazing software for a freebie. Well thought out and well done.

Thanks for the kind words Isac. I paid $120 for NIK before Googlle made it free, didn't bother me as it was/is great value. Now owned by DxO and selling for US$69.

John, you have to pay my next electricity bill. It's your fault I have to sleep with the lights on !

#2 for me as well as it has a strange quality.

The processing sets the atmosphere. Well done!

I must confess to not bothering with Nic efex HDR but do use Color Efex pro quite a bit. I find using one of the filters to bring out detail first then reloading it into a softer filter gives a nice balanced effect which you can adjust to suit either harsh detail to soft diffused. It can get a HDR look to it. Must have another fiddle with NIc HDR sometime but I generally don't get to deep into processing.
