I'm not a fan of the graininess though - it seems to roughen, rather than simplify the image to me - I guess you can't please everyone

Having looked at it a bit longer, I can see why you processed it that way - it is a dead tree, in what is maybe a harsh and rough environment. B&W suits.
A wall hanger for sure. (just needs a bird
