  • Forest Fungi?







    The neighbours had some old paperbarks cut down recently and the trunks were cut up to dry for firewood.

    Almost too beautiful to burn. I've never seen such interesting cross sections before.

        Wow, they are very interesting indeed .... could have sliced them for drink coasters etc.
        Oil paint effect looks quite pretty

          Thanks Barb. They are over 30cm across, so more like dinner plate place mats.

          I don't have the tools to do anything with them, but I might snaffle a few for future projects, just in case.

            They're great, I'm sure you could do heaps with slices of that. Not keen on the oily version but I recon some shots of those cuts could be processed into something very attractive.
