I see your point, but I love the gnarly big tree .... okay the tree far right could go without any drama.
It is dark because yes, it is Winter time, and because that's how I like it as an 'art' image.

Interesting to see the bridge again.

I find the buildings a distraction, but I like the gnarly tree.

Not sure about the dark processing on this one

I think the similar processing suited the bridge one better though

    Nice to see you back

      Thanks Alan

The main PP is from Triste in Silver Efex (nik) ..... the mood I was looking for was 'dark and a little sinister'. The building has bars on all windows and doors (think prison - held captive). In truth the PP is not dark enough.

(Switching modem 'on and off' seems to have scared the gremlin away .... thank goodness)

Love the reflections!. The building is ugly but then the trees ain't all that pretty either, and the area is flooded. Interesting image, well spotted and presented.

      Thanks Mick

This is the creek that runs through our local park .... the building occasionally houses miniature trains.

I prefer the tree image to this one but it still has great interest.

In truth I probably agree with you .... less is more. This would be better if I removed the background structures and brought in a dark vignette just for starters. Something to keep playing with in this horrible weather.
