Well done forming a sentence containing the words 'poodle' and 'serenity', never thought I'd see the day. The use of the word 'shatter' probably helped.
Wonderful concept well executed (the image I mean)-----------------------------------------------------

haha ... very cool shot Alan
While trolling around I came across a dude that did this ..... he used an enormous amount of mirror to create the effect he wanted. Can't remember who he was or what site it was onBarb

Thanks everyone. A way to pass the time on a rainy day.
This took a lot less time and effort than Mr Johansson's
The 'mirrors' are just triangles drawn in PS. Most of the sky came from another photo, which was then flipped for the reflection and layered/erased into the triangles and a drop shadow applied to them.

I had a play Alan and did much how you say. I made the mirror shapes using my now favourite selection tool - the Polygonal Lasso Tool. For those that haven't used it, click the first corner move to the next corner and click, then to the 3rd corner and Double click. The triangle then completes itself by joining up with the first corner. Of course this works for any shape as I'm sure you already know
