Storm clouds and rain.

Had a good storm roll through and I grabbed these two images.

I liked the little wave in the lower left.





Got some serious rain when this lot rolled in.

Colour definitely takes away some of the drama of the storm/rain but it adds heaps to the location in my opinion. Feels more like you are actually there if that makes sense.

The colour version shifts attention to the ground when what I was trying to capture was the sky.

Impressive cloud structure in #1 and unusually for me, I prefer the b&w of #2 - that rain is just pouring down by the look of it.

The B&W definitely adds drama to the sky, I also like the colour shot, but the B&W wins for me.

That's good to hear Mick. Some areas to the west of us just received their first significant rain in 3 years, no doubt it was a welcome relief.
