It's amazing how THREE sticks in the ground can attract the attention of a master photographer when all it does for a bird, is provide something to rest on. But wait !!! can I see the fourth stick way to billio up the beach? Good shots - I like the simplicity and nothing to distract - the eye hits the sticks and stays there. Black and Whites for me (as usual).I Shoot A Canon

Mmm... three sticks.... could be the makings of a spit... perhaps for roasting poodle!
BW works best as the sticks and textures are the stars and colour pulls the eye away plus the poles are better lit in the BWs.
I prefer the look of one overall... but all images are improved when a bird enters the frame.Comment
