A desert garden
08-12-2015, 03:21 PM
It was too soon in the season to see a full desert bloom but these tiny outposts of life were just as interesting.
Converted to b&w to hopefully accentuate the harshness of the landscape rather than the beauty of the flower

Maybe too central? Maybe a shot taken from ground level would have been worth a try? Maybe even more space around it?

Mick you have achieved showing the contrast between the barren ground and the little oasis of flowers, but it seems to me to be missing something. Maybe as Alan says, a lower viewpoint might benefit .

Looks lonely. For me just a slightly different crop might work better.. put flowers into the top right third?

I too think it might work better with the flowers off centre and maybe would work better in colour - not sure.
