I found photographing the desert landscape challenging to put it mildly. How do you photograph nothing?
In both images I placed a small bush in the foreground as an anchor and hoped the distant trees/hills would provide enough interest to the eye of the viewer. Cloudy skies were priceless in a landscape known for clear blue skies.
In the first image I chose to feature the land while in the second the sky dominates. The shape and form of the clouds guided my thinking here as much as anything.
All comments welcome.
