Montecollina Bore is the most popular camp site on the Strezelecki Track where hot bore water overflows into a dam and then into a wetland that attracts literally thousands of birds. Mixing the water will give you a comfortable temperature. The camping area is marked out in the sandy sediments of an ancient lake with shaded info and picnic shelters and even a water tank.

The photo has to be worth $500,000, surely?
