Ohhhh WOW Alan, your top one is amazing, the background colours are absolutely beautiful and accentuate your little bird perfectly. I like where you cropped down the bottom. This has a lovely feel to it and the filter is just perfect here, I haven't tried it yet but I feel you have really mastered the use of the oil filter. Your second one is equally amazing. I can see both of these in tapestry/cross stitch format ..... amazing!

I prefer #2 of these - such a dreamy scene - really nice. I think having seen the original of the cormorant spoils the oil one for me.
