I thought I'd better brave the frost and get a few Winter photos of things other than beaches and poodles. I might put a B&W version of #1 up in the B&W Forum.

I like that effect. The slope in #1 is a bit off putting for me, sort of leads my eye down to the right corner, but I guess that's how it was.

Oh, yeah, that works so well with the mist scene. Thought the BW was great but like the colour better..
I've had a go with that topaz and have never made it look artistic like you do.

i think i could really like an edited original. The ETA will be after you soon because of all this oil you are splashing around

Thanks SS. Interesting observation - I have heard of a theory that suggests that that is where the eye should leave a frame
