I'm back home, briefly, but I use a MacBook 17" Pro and PS6 on the road. Effects are Dry Brush Filter and Oil Paint (with layers)

Now this is interesting!

By simplifying this image it's gone up about three notches.

Very pleasing to the eye. Gorgeous colour and lovely forms and shapes. Lots to enjoy here, delightful image.

The second still has that clash of texture/colour that Darren mentioned in the other thread imo.

The others aren't grabbing me as much but I might like them more if I hadn't seen the originals. They were quite beautiful. Nothing at all wrong with these I hasten to add.

Thanks again for that feedback - still experimenting with processing and composition, and it's good to get opinions from people with no attachment to the images
