17 lookers but no guesses! Don't suspect many others would have had this viewpoint. Put it in the Artistic cat. as it didn't fit well anywhere else.

It's a 'Bluebottle' stinger (Portugese Man o War) floating on very calm water with the underwater side reflected on the underside of the surface. (You people who do topside reflections might appreciate how calm it needs to be to get that to work to some degree)!

It was interesting getting the photograph as there were hundreds of them and I needed to navigate through stinging tenticles while setting up the shot. Here's another example:

I like #2 as it shows a lot of the detail up close. I think #1 would be a stronger image if it were straightened, but the intense colours and unusual shapes are interesting.

Agreed, I put it in more for it's unusual qualities than anything else. I also did it this way around to see if my diving mates could recognise it.
