Floating Flower and Friend

Hi

I was trying to take an underwater pic (with the Lumix DMC-FT2 - Macro mode. Yes, underwater Macro - Mark B1 eat your heart out ), of this floating flower in the pool, against the sun, when a small dragonfly landed on it!



I tidied up some of the floating bits and pieces in the water and added a bit of canvas to the top. After downloading, I went back to try for some other photos of the grand kids and forgot to close the side door. This will probably be my last underwater photo

What a cool photo and the dragonfly makes it IMO, shows you were shooting it from underneath.

Looks like the ufo from your astronomy shot is hovering above your pool Alan!
What do you mean last underwater photo?
You can't post something as fascinating as this and then say "No More".

Thanks Girls. Jo, as mentioned above, I forgot to close the side door of the camera when I returned to the pool. A few seconds submerged and it was all over red rover. A night in a rice bag failed to wake it up
