  • Last day of Winter sunset

After yesterday's snowfall, the last Winter sun appeared briefly and tried to warm things up

    Welcome Spring

As Gabby said in a previous thread .. your Aussie scenery bush scenes really suit the filter. Sometimes I think the wavy bits are a bit too wavy and need to be tamed with a hair straightener .. ie the second one I think needs taming but the first one it really suits. Looks like loads of Tribbles (from Star Trek (OS).

Alan, you are having too much fun with the filter.

      No. 1 works for me.

        Thanks you too

It is fun pressing the 'go' button and wondering what will result - often it's nothing - but sometimes I'm surprised.

Alan, do us a favour. Go to Autumnal Break post and do an oily effect on it and repost.

I would like to see what sort of effect you can get.

          Cheers in advance.

another case of the right processing I think,
maybe the aussie bush really does suit this filter.

            regardless, good work

I tried, but IMHO, it didn't suit the photo. The filter seems to work best on small, fine, in-focus detail - not large OOF areas. But it is a beautiful photo none the less Greenspeed

thanks maybe not 'right' - but if it appeals to some, that's worthwhile - thanks everyone for indulging me.

..others have not been so kind...anyway, it's all good fun and a learning experience

              Cheers
