Sandy, great shot. The focus is great, and I think the composition really works well. You have thought this one through and made it work beautifully.
Yea, very artistic too, and creative.
Hope you don't mind, but I thought the reflection of the globe was a bit distracting, and I got rid of some of the spots too.
Charles
My indecision is final, I think.

Thanks Alan I wanted to show myself that me and my cam can work together under low light condition's our lounge room is very dark with dark curtains to keep it cooler in hot summer that we get here. Anyway Like I said the initial was not mine of just basicually lighting up an unscrewed light bulb but the rest of it was.
to light up an unscrewed light bulb ( frosted works better ) get a torch I used one of those pen light torch and you put the torch behind the globe bingo you now have a light bulb that the electicticy company would not like if they found out .
Now what I did I got my Tom Ang photography book and found a nice photo I was looking forsomething night or night city or something dark and I found it then I got a portable tv screen and some black material and covered the small telly with the material this was my background ( more for Justin Case ) I got a couple of music tapes
and a placemat to raise it from the table a bit.
I put the book ontop of this closed all the curtains and blinds and doors and made the room as dark as I could ( it was so dark that seeing was hard with out the torch) so it was pretty dark I put the light bulb on the photo in the book and torch behind the bulb and shot shot shot away changed a few things about tried diff angle's so on so
I think this worked was because it was so dark the torch was just enough light to light up the bulb and the photo still giving it that night time look these are my setting for anybody that would like to know I hope this is understood ok I am not a tut writer notice I manage to keep my f/stop down as well but using a higher ISO.
thanks for looking Alan and your reply as well

Well done Sandy, you have a very creative mind and I like these results plus your explanation. I like the way the bulb is lit up and would never have imagined how you achieved this until I read your notes. Good on ya!
You could light up a couple of your toys, in particular the dolls, to make them look creepy!
