Wow - I love a bit of experimentation and the rework has paid dividends - I'm trying to work out how you could make it look even more extraterrestrial (if that was your aim) - blue colour shift on the foreground? - more sky to emphasise it's 'out of worldliness'? More contrast in the sky to match the rocks? Seems like there is too much light on the foreground for what appears to be a night shot - just being picky sorry, as I really like it

Super processing
Actually for those in the know about astrophotography and long-exposure night photography, it is quite realistic that a 30 second exposure under a full moon can nearly look like daylight. The difference is, that under a full moon, the sky does become washed out and loses contrast.
I don't want to make it look TOO otherworldly no. I think it is hard enough to convince a viewer of the realism of a day/night combination, let alone messing with the colours too much. I think the more it looks like a photo rather than a manipulation, the better. Not sure I achieved that here, but I am confident that I can develop the skill.
Cheers Barry - hey, it's fine - it's just an occasional peeve of mine about how one is meant to comment on some photos, without a rough idea of what the poster was trying to achieve. I'm just as guilty.
