  • Glass Daffadils

    Something a bit different for me, my daughter wanted an abstract, "imperfect glass" daffadils for her newly painted walls

    Was fun I have not played with the camera for a while so it was fun working out how to get the "glazed" effect right in-camera Will be printed onto an acrylic block. At least I got the "imperfect" bit right!

    Great - don't know how you achieved it, but it does look "glassy" and translucent. Should look good printed onto an acrylic block - and I don't know how you'd do that either - so many things I don't know......

          Jeff, looks like you achieved the glass look and what a great idea. Is your daughter happy with your result, I would be -I can see a huge pic plastered on the wall .......... lovely!

            Hey you can try this a few ways you know. Get as many of those as you can. Lay them on a piece of glass so they cover it. Put piece of glass about 3 feet from the ground, get your off camera flash, put white paper on the ground and shoot your flash into it while taking the photo on top. It works with kiwi fruit so i dont know why it wouldnt work with flowers haha.
