Thanks so much. Yes, being a wildlife carer was truly rewarding even with some of the heartache that went with it. I do miss my 'babies' but after 10 years of no holidays and total focus on my charges I decided that I was due for some me time.
I can well imagine you missing our beautiful coast but it will always remain with you in your heart.
