AP: How did you get into photography?
Angel: To be honest I don't really know, it just sort of happened. When I was in my teens, I was given some disposable cameras and I used to go around snapping random photos, I didn’t really get them developed. I was just happy just taking them. Then quite a few years ago my partner bought me a digital P&S. I would take it everywhere as I never really had anything growing up so I thought it was fantastic! I guess I was always interested in taking photos and what not. I would muck around in paint shop pro 7 (my very first editing program) editing photos making, manipulations and signature/avatars for various forum members. I later upgraded to Photoshop... Then, just over 18 or so months, I was in a pretty dark place, but was brought out of it in time when I purchased my first DSLR camera the Canon 400D.

AP: How long have you been taking photos for?
Angel: Approximately 18months or so, but have always had a camera of some sort on me for a long time.

AP: What was your most rewarding shot?
Angel: I don’t think I have one that stands out from the others, I have so many that I cherish for dierent reasons, especially when I learnt something new. I guess they all show different progressions through my photographic career.

AP: What type of photography is your forte?
Angel: Portrait, more glamour/beauty type shots I think, I like to make my subjects feel more beautiful about themselves.

AP: How did you start your business out?
Angel: I was lucky enough when I first started out an amazing professional makeup artist had moved to the area and offered to do some TFCD shoots with me, I think I had done one or 2 shoots prior to it, but after that I had quite a few enquiries and went from there.

AP: What other hobbies do you have?
Angel: I’m a bit of a country bumpkin I love BnS utes, BnS balls, Ute shows, Rodeos, and lming the boys doing crazy stuff in utes and other toys! I also love arty crafty type stuff, I have currently taken up making hair accessories for photo shoots.

AP: What’s your favourite location for shots?
Angel: I love so many different places but I would have to like the grungy look most, especially if the model is wearing pretty clothing. I like brick walls, alleyways and graffiti walls. I also have a fascination with water, but living 3hrs or so from the beach doesn’t allow it too much, which is probably why I like it so much.
